The study of use of languages within the population and its interconnections with the make up of Andorran society is one of our most consolidated lines of research.

Since 2009, the Sociology Group, commissioned by the Department of Language Policy of the Government of Andorra, has been in charge of conducting the waves of the survey on the linguistic uses of the population of Andorra.
The last edition of this survey was in 2022. This is the most extensive longitudinal study of Andorra, since the first edition was carried out in 1995.
In addition, during these years several works and articles have been elaborated in relation to this subject.
