Andorra Living Lab, the project promoted by Andorra Recerca + Innovació, obtains the European Network of Living Labs - ENoLL certification
As of this April, Andorra Living Lab has become a member of the European Network of Living Labs - EnoLL, an organization created in 2006 with its headquarters in Brussels, which in recent years has developed numerous actions to promote up to 480 living labs around the world. The certification received by AR+I is a step forward in the definition of the services and opportunities that researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs can find and that will facilitate the international connection with the network of entities that are currently part of it. It is for this reason that being part of EnoLLL will allow the exchange of knowledge between innovation ecosystems and promote joint actions that can have an impact on the development of new solutions that translate into innovative products or services useful to citizens.
Living Labs are defined as user-centered, open and collaborative innovation ecosystems based on a systematic approach to co-creation. They are research and innovation processes in real communities promoting entrepreneurship and talent.
The focus of Andorra Living Lab is to catalyze opportunities through a space that combines different activities of coordination of pilot tests, research and design of prototypes, agile testing and validation in real environments, involving different key actors, such as entrepreneurs, students, investors, professionals from different sectors, etc. That make up the ecosystem, allow the development of new products and services, as well as the adoption of new technologies and in-depth reflection on them.
Andorra offers the opportunity to create synergies between the entrepreneurial ecosystem, promoting talent and building international networks that foster the exchange of knowledge and resources, creating opportunities both socially and economically. Andorra LivingLab is connected to several national and international companies and institutions, such as: Barcelona Supercomputing Center, ACTINN, Scale Lab, SAAS, Richi Entrepreneurs, GSIC, Israel Innovation Institute, Centre de Regulació Genòmica de Barcelona, Aimsun, IS Global, MIT Media Lab, LEITAT, Màlaga TechnoPark, EmTech, among others.
Joining EnoLLL will allow to finish structuring the methodology and operational functioning of the project and to take advantage of the experience of other existing Livinglabs.
