In the Joan Antoni household (Encamp) are kept all the documents relating to the lawsuits that took place between the communes of Encamp and Canillo against the commune of Merens for the dominion of the Solana d’Andorra. There are more than seven hundred documents that bear witness to a territorial conflict that lasted for more than five centuries. The professor of the University of Montpellier Marc Conesa has carried out an exhaustive study on this conflict: La Solana d’Andorra - Une montagne et ses hommes. 13th – 20th century.
