Since 2017 we have been working on the draft for the candidacy "The material testimonies of the construction of the State of the Pyrenees: the Co-Principality of Andorra", which applies to becoming part of the Unesco World Heritage.
This candidacy —where historians, archaeologists and heritage managers from Andorra, Ariège and La Seu d’Urgell work— brings together thirteen monuments (eleven in Andorra, plus the castle of Foix and the cathedral of Santa Maria d’Urgell, which are the historical testimony of the political construction of the Andorran state.
