The Annexa’t Program is a talent development initiative designed to connect young talent and advanced research with the economic and social reality of Andorra.
It was created with the ambition of positioning the country as a hub for knowledge and innovation, fostering collaboration between universities, companies, institutions, and research centres.
Main Pillars
The programme is structured around four strategic areas:
- Scientific Excellence: Promotion of high-level research programmes in collaboration with leading international institutions, in fields such as mountain genomics and emerging sciences.
- Technological Excellence: Development of DeepTech projects with international partners, applied to areas such as urban labs, smart cities, sustainability, and circular economy initiatives.
- Knowledge Transfer to the Private Sector: Promotion of industrial PhDs and innovation initiatives that integrate research talent into Andorran companies to address real challenges and strengthen economic diversification.
- Academic Support for Talent: Guidance for students through mentoring, internships, applied research opportunities, and academic project supervision, led by AR+I.
Impact
The programme creates value across three dimensions:
